The first recipes are rooted in the monastic tradition of Dalmatia, before becoming a great classic of Italian welcome liqueurs. It is obtained by distilling marasca cherries, a particular type of cherry with a characteristic tart note.

Alcohol content: 26%

Neat, well-chilled or on the rocks. Excellent in cocktails with grapefruit and pineapple juice, or to enrich fresh fruit. Also ideal for pastry preparations.
